How does M-Pesa integration work?
Revent connects directly to Safaricom's Daraja API. When a tenant pays via your Paybill or Lipa na M-Pesa, the payment is automatically matched to their account and a receipt is sent via SMS within seconds.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Starter plan is free forever for up to 20 units and 3 properties. No credit card required. You can upgrade anytime as your portfolio grows.
Can my property owners see their own statements?
Absolutely. You can invite owners to the platform and they get a read-only portal showing only their properties, income, expenses, and monthly statements.
Does it work with smart water meters?
Yes. Revent supports both manual meter readings (via the caretaker app) and IoT smart meters connected via MQTT/LoRaWAN. You can start manual and upgrade to smart meters later.
How secure is tenant data?
Every organization's data is completely isolated in its own database schema. All traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.3, M-Pesa credentials are encrypted at rest, and we maintain complete audit logs.
