How It Works
Manual Reading Flow
Caretaker opens the app, selects a property, takes a photo of each meter, enters the reading. The app validates readings and calculates consumption automatically.
Billing Configuration
Configure flat rate or per-unit pricing per meter type. Set minimum charges and standing charges. Rates are applied automatically when readings are approved.
Smart Meter Integration
IoT meters send readings via MQTT. Revent subscribes to meter topics and stores time-series data. Daily and hourly aggregations run automatically.
Anomaly Detection
If consumption exceeds 150% of the 3-month average, continuous flow is detected at 3am, or readings decrease — the system flags it and notifies the manager.
Billing to Invoice
Once readings are approved, utility charges are automatically added as line items on the tenant's monthly invoice alongside rent.
Consumption Analytics
Per-unit monthly consumption bar charts, building-level heatmaps, top consumers ranking, and revenue vs cost analysis.
