How It Works
STK Push Flow
Tenant opens their portal, taps 'Pay Now', enters amount. Revent sends an STK push to their phone. They enter their M-Pesa PIN and the payment is confirmed in real-time.
C2B Paybill Matching
Tenants send money to your Paybill using their unit number as the account reference. Revent's callback API automatically matches the payment to the correct tenant and invoice.
Smart Allocation
Payments are allocated against the oldest unpaid invoice first (configurable). Overpayments create credit balances carried forward automatically.
Unmatched Queue
If a payment can't be auto-matched (wrong account number, unknown sender), it appears in the Pending Allocation queue for the manager to resolve with one click.
Receipt Generation
Digital receipts with organization branding are generated instantly and sent via SMS. PDF receipts are also downloadable from the tenant portal.
Reconciliation Dashboard
Real-time feed of all M-Pesa transactions with matched/unmatched status, daily summaries, and exportable reports for bank reconciliation.
